PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE
The simple present tense is used to describe habits, repeated actions ,unchanging situations, general truths, emotions, wishes and fixed arrangements. The simple present tense is simple to form. Just use the base form of the verb: (I take, you take, we take, they take) The only change from the base is the addition of s for third person singular (he takes, she takes).
Examples:
- To express habits or unchanging situations:
I smoke cigarette (habit); I work in London (unchanging situation);
- To give instructions or directions:
You walk for two hundred meters, then you turn left.
- To express fixed arrangements:
Your exam starts at 09.00

HOW DO WE MAKE THE PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE?
There is a basic structure for the Simple Present Tense in first and second persons (I,you,we,they) :

Sin embargo, existen algunas reglas gramaticales de acuerdo a la terminación del verbo: si el verbo termina en ss, o, x, ch, o en sh, agregamos es al verbo ⬆;
2. If the verb ends in a Consonant + Y, we remove the Y and + IES in the third person.
